Monnalisa Restaurant: the elegant restaurant at the Grand Hotel Da Vinci

A relaxed atmosphere in an elegant setting, with a culinary proposal of excellence: this is what the Monnalisa Restaurant, located in the exclusive 5-star Grand Hotel Da Vinci in Cesenatico, offers. 

In 2015, we were asked to design the furnishings for this sought-after restaurant overlooking the beach.

The restaurant is presented as a single open-plan environment, divided into 2 distinct areas (bar and restaurant) that share the same sober but elegant style, characterised by neutral tones and high-quality materials.

The American bar counter with its curved lines is clad in backlit Corian. The discrete counter in tempered glass masks a work surface composed of a drop-in refrigerated basin and an equipped freestyle basin.

The back bar is made up of refrigerated counters and back shelves organised with display shelves that provide a strong scenic effect thanks to careful lighting. 

The drinking area of the bar is furnished with high tables and stools that give the environment a casual and informal style; while the restaurant area is furnished with lower tables and elegant armchairs for slower-paced dinners and lunches.

Various display counters, service furniture and refrigerated and hot buffets on wheels, all with the same lacquered finish, complete the furnishings.

The collaboration with the ownership began years before the restaurant was built, with the supply of all the sofas and upholstered armchairs for the 5 Star Hotel.
